Poor Cat .. :(

Yesterday gave a visit to Sai Baba Temple at Mylapore which i usually do on Thursday nights, while returning back i hit upon a small cat :( It all happened so fast that i couldnt do anything but looked back to see it die with a last shiver. I went back to see if there was any sign of life left but unfortunately there was none. Left the poor chap by the side of the road and left cursing myself.

FM - Radio

I have been recently bitten by the FM bug. Radio Mirchi, Suryan & Rainbow are just great radio channels and listening to it while you drive (specially on a bike) is something which makes you forget the horrible traffic of Chennai and soothes your mind and body. Often it so happens that while listening to the music or the pep talk by these RJs you smile and then realise that someone is staring at you :)

Thanks to the sweet deal with Senthil who bought me a Nokia 2300 with built in FM Radio :)

A forum posting ...

Today i came across one of the postings in Sourceforge for FileZilla project. It read,

PostPosted: 2004-03-24 23:42 Today at 18:13 (GMT + 1) FileZilla 3 did connect to an FTP server for the first time. I whish you would have seen that with your own eyes. If only i had my camera ready. After clicking on the quickconnect button it connected to my server and shy as FZ3 still is, it stood just there looking at the server, uncertain what to do next. It's so damn cute :))

Is that not wonderful to read a statement like this? :) The admin of the Filezilla project admires every bit of the code (product) that he creates. He sees it as his child and admires this like a father seeing his son/daughter walking for the first time !!

CMM Level 4

Hurraaaaaaaaaaay !! We are now a CMM Level 4 company !! We are already a ISO 9001 company. It really makes us proud to work in such an organization. They say that these quality certifications will improve organizations and individuals in their software engineering management practices. I have been here in this company for last three months and I have been hearing a lot about quality but once I get a chance to implement it in my day to day work related activities then only we can know more about quality, its essence and admire its presence.
